SCHÖN 11

I've been waiting very impatiently for this to finally come out and though I've not been able to find the actual magazine in stores yet, the photographer, Rayan Ayash, sent these over this morning.

Don't you just love how he lit our stunning model, Madeleine Blomberg?

I'll admit it, I actually did a little happy dance. :)

The It Couple, Elle Canada April '11

In this fun promo piece, Mattel collaborated with a few of Canada's top designers so Barbie and Ken could cross Canada in style.

Some would say it's my best hair work to date. All I can tell you is that as far as celebrities go, these two, though a little stiff, were super easy to work with!

Here are a few behind the scenes shots including Barbie 'before' and my 'kit' for the day which included hot glue, pliers and of course, Barbie's purple hair brush!

Tout Peau, Tout Cuir - Clin d'oeil Magazine January '11

I worked on this story some time ago and while I really love working with the magazine and the John van der Schilden/Judy MacDonald team, it's almost impossible and I mean IMPOSSIBLE, to get tears. These scans came to me courtesy of Ty's mother agent, Chantale Nadeau.

This was my second time working with the lovely Ty. She's a real gem - patient and so, so professional. I used two wigs and several hair pieces to create that nest of hair and she didn't complain once.. not even a peep!

Fashion Stylist Marc Sifuentes shoots with Britt Maren for 100 Women Magazine

From Models.com: "Well what a surprise! New York Fashion week actually emitted a clear, bonafide, distinct first season girl who now has every power editor, stylist and designer standing at attention. The girl in question? Women’s new face Britt who in the tradition forged by agency mate Mirte, proved that Girl 1 at Alexander Wang, especially when you are an unknown , can certainly trigger a lot of traction. That traction proved itself when Britt walked Marc Collection the following Monday and then Rodarte, Michael Kors and Donna Karan during the ensuing week. That triggered a massive wave wave of requests for the London, Milan and Paris shows. Rest assured that this girl is going to benefit from the kind of flawless management that put her on the map in the first place. It seems in the model-marketing sweepstakes, ” Made In New York” still carries major weight."

Marin went on to walk in Ungaro, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, Chanel, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Loewe, Balmain in her first season with Women Management.
